Estevan Valdes
Founder / Head Creative -- Producer / Director / Writer / Cinematographer / Editor / ColoristEstevan Valdes is the founder and creative director of Uno Somos Films. A graduate of the University of Central Florida's Film and Television Production program and the University of Georgia's MFA program in Film and TV Production, he has spent the past several years building a body of work that spans documentary, narrative fiction, commercial production, and corporate video.
On the production side, he has served as director, cinematographer, DIT, editor, and colorist -- which means the creative pipeline from first shot to final grade runs through the same person. Recent commercial work includes promotional productions for Short Barrel in Atlanta, Whiskey Tree Bourbon in New Orleans, and Ascending Capital Management. He also worked as producer and line producer on OG Stories alongside Dame Dash, a project that went to Paramount+.
The son of Colombian and Cuban immigrants, Estevan is bilingual in English and Spanish -- a credential that matters in a city like Orlando and in a production company that believes the best stories come from the people who have lived them. Before film, he played professional golf.
Carlos Adarve
Filmmaker -- Director / ProducerCarlos Adarve is a director and producer interested in the stories people that represent the universality of the human condition. His work moves toward the personal — the insight that surfaces when a character is forced to look directly at their inner self.
A Florida native, Carlos is the producer and one of the directors of the film Silleteros.
Ryan Frazier
Filmmaker -- Director / Writer / Script Supervisor / EditorRyan Frazier is a writer and director interested in the stories people don't tell easily. His work moves toward the personal — the insight that surfaces when a character is forced to look directly at their own damage — and treats trauma not as a plot device but as the thing worth understanding.
An Illinois native, Ryan recently relocated to Orlando, where he is currently co-director and co-editor of Moulder, a horror short following a couple who discover mold in their new house and, in the process, something harder to name. The project reflects his interest in genre as a delivery system for psychological honesty.
Ryan also co-hosts Screen Sessions, a film channel with over 40,000 subscribers, where, along with his co-host Estevan, chime in movies in realtime while joking along and nitpicking their sometimes ridiculous features.
Nicolas Scott
Cinematographer -- Director / Writer / Editor
Nicolas Scott is a Florida native with a degree in Film. He is an expert camera operator and has built a strong foundation in pre-production work within the camera department -- which means he is not just thinking about the shot in front of him, but the four shots that follow it.
His editing work is experimental without being indulgent. He looks for the cut that surprises, the lighting choice that changes the mood, the framing that makes a viewer lean forward. He has a particular affinity for horror -- a genre that demands precise visual craft and punishes anything lazy. At Uno Somos Films, he brings that same precision to every type of project.
